Cooper Cooler Electric Rapid Wine Chiller

by coolerman on October 15, 2020

The Cooper Cooler Rapid Beverage & Wine Chiller is a very handy way to quickly chill a bottle of wine or can of your favorite beverage. It uses ice and water to cool the bottle or can rapidly, by rotating it and spraying ice water on it. (This type of “instant wine chiller” appeared in wine and liquor stores many years ago, and was a very clever idea. Now, they're available for home use – and you don't need a huge basin of ice water.)

The Cooper Cooler Wine Chiller can chill a wine bottle in 6 minutes, or a can in 1 minute – approximately 40 times faster than sticking it in the freezer, and you don't have to worry about your carbonated drinks turning to ice.

This wine bottle and can chiller can also be used as a bottle warmer – for baby bottles or anything else, by just using hot water instead of cold water and ice.

It offers an automatic touchpad that features preset times, an extra-chill setting, and an add-ice indicator light.

The Cooper Cooler Wine Chiller is very popular with purchasers, scoring a solid 4.3 stars, from close to 400 reviewers, at the time of this writing.

Some buyers didn't like that it needs to use ice, and dealing with the water, but that's the nature of a simple machine like this. Other electric wine chillers take much longer to chill a bottle or can, and most buyers found that inconvenience worthwhile to get their beverages cooled so much faster. Some complained that the chiller stopped working prematurely, but there weren't many of those, and it seems there are those kinds of complaints with virtually any product you can find on Amazon or anywhere else.

Most reviewers were quite happy that it cooled their wine and kept it cold, as advertised. Generally, reviewers said that this wine chiller worked fast (chilling a bottle of white wine in 6 minutes), and did exactly what they had hoped it would do. Most were thrilled with their purchase.

Our summary:

Most folks raved about the Cooper Cooler Rapid Beverage & Wine Chiller, a nice single bottle electric wine chiller (and warmer). Owners loved the fact that they could just set the type of wine, and forget about making sure it was at the right temperature for serving. Apparently, this electric wine chiller is a very popular gift choice, as quite a number of reviewers said they'd given it as a gift, and it was so wildly popular that they either bought another as a gift, or bought one for themselves.

Although we did see a few reviews that mentioned it was noisy, complaints of noisiness of the Cooper Cooler wine chiller were not nearly as common as we've heard on some other electric wine chillers, like the Waring Pro Single/Double Bottle Wine Chillers. And, those who did mention the noise generally felt that it was a little annoying, but they still enjoyed the convenience of this chiller.

With most of  the single bottle wine chillers we've researched, there were quite a few complaints about it taking literally hours for white wines to reach their target temperature. Several owners found this unacceptable, and a handful either returned or planned to return their wine chillers. However, this has not been the case with  Cooper Cooler Single Bottle Wine Chiller, which cools very nicely on its own. Virtually all of the iceless wine chillers had trouble cooling white wines rapidly.

Many reviewers found this little wine chiller much more useful than they had expected – and several reported buying it as a gift, and then buying another for themselves.

All in all, the majority of Cooper Cooler owners loved their coolers, and were very glad they had made this purchase.

Bottom line recommendation:

The Cooper Cooler Rapid Beverage & Wine Chiller is RECOMMENDED.
