If you’re looking for a 30-bottle wine cooler, this Haier unit comes well recommended. We found 15 reviews online, and the average was 4 stars, out of 5. Taking into account that online reviewers tend to either love or hate the unit they’re reviewing, this is a solid recommendation.
Comments we heard included:
- many folks loved it, a couple said it was “awesome”
- it’s very quiet – in fact, a couple of reviewers commented on how quiet it actually is
- it’s attractive and adds to the overall look of the room it’s in – several especially appreciated the curved, smoked glass
- the temperature stays consistent
The only negative comment we came across was that the glass does not offer UV protection. If this is a concern – if, for example, you’ll store it in a brightly-lit room, you can place something inside to block the light.
The fact that there were no quality complaints was impressive, as we’ve seen quite a few reliability complaints on various wine coolers in our research – but none here.
Overall, this is a highly recommended wine cooler.
Unfortunately, the Haier BC112G has been discontinued. But, Check out the Danby 36 Bottle Freestanding Wine Cooler instead – it's very reliable, and a great deal all around.
